BURGER THEORY

JOB DESCRIPTION: COOK 
Job Overview - The purpose of this position is to interact with our front of house employees and guests at Burger Theory®. Burger Theory Cooks are responsible for positive interactions while accurately creating and presenting menu items correctly in a friendly and efficient manner. 
Job Qualifications 
  • Strong interpersonal skills with positive attitude and a willingness to help others
  • Friendly and outgoing personality with the ability to engage in conversation
     Must speak English and be able to write basic English
  • Food handler card such as Serv Safe
     General Responsibilities
  • Greet fellow employees in a positive manner.
  • Learn and follow the required recipes in order to present food in a consistently appetizing manner.
  • Assist with the cleaning of and putting away of dishes.
  • Complete all opening and closing work as listed on checklists.
  • Follow all state and local health and sanitation laws while working in the kitchen.
  • Assist in the set up and tear down of manager receptions or banquet events if needed.

Assist all Front of House employees in creating a positive, memorable experience for
 
the guest.
 
  • Table touch, when appropriate, in a clean chef coat to engage with guests one on one to ensure their complete satisfaction with the meals.
  • Accept and properly put away incoming deliveries.
     Discretion
     This position does represent the company in handling complaints, arbitrating disputes or resolving grievances. As a Burger Theory Cook, you will be expected to work with guests and visitors to ensure their complete satisfaction. A Burger Theory Cook will have to take initiative and get creative in resolving guest challenges and involve a supervisor only when previous methods have been unsuccessful.
Compensation: $12.00 - $13.00 per hour
